TEC Electric Motors range of brake motors are stocked from 0.12 kW up to 18.5 kW in 2 pole and 4 pole on the shelf. The brake motors are equipped with a powerful DC electromagnetic brake. The braking torque can be adjusted by a torque adjusting ring to suit the applications requirements. The brake is supplied with a DC current from a half wave rectifier which is sourced from the 3 phase motor supply. The complete range comes equipped with a hand release which can be removed if not required.
